Alun Thomas, Chief Executive, Adferiad Recovery
Working within the charity since 2011, Alun held the title of Chief Executive of Hafal from December 2014 until the launch of Adferiad Recovery. Prior to this, Alun worked as a Registered General Nurse in the NHS before becoming manager of a 75-bed nursing home which he developed into a specialist neurological rehabilitation facility.

Over sees the running of Parkland Place North Wales.
1 x Lead Addiction Therapist
Oversees the team of Addiction and Recovery Practitioners to ensure the smooth running of the therapeutic programme.
1 x Specialist Counsellor BACP accredited
Undertakes clinically supervised assessments and treatment interventions working with you to help bring about effective change.
1 x Head of Service Gambling related Harms
Oversees people accessing Adferiad Recovery’s gambling addiction services by ensuring high quality and robust service provision.
11 x Addiction and Recovery Practitioner’s
Accountable for the care planning and implementation of a wide range of treatments, these include therapeutic and specialist interventions to adults experiencing life challenges within a residential setting. Managing a varied caseload and to deliver a structured psychosocial programme of interventions including 1-2-1 and group work.
1 x Caretaker/Gardener
Takes the lead and overall responsibility for the general maintenance and upkeep of the grounds and over estate at Parkland Place North Wales.
1 x Housekeeper
Undertakes a variety of domestic duties and tasks to ensure Parkland Place North Wales is kept clean and tidy in accordance with care standards. Your laundry needs will be taken care of throughout the duration of your stay.
1 x Office Manager
First point of contact at Parkland Place North Wales, ensuring a smooth admission process into the unit.
2 x Chefs
Ensuring you are fully fuelled for your recovery with nutritious, healthy and tasty food. We can discuss dietary requirements on consultation.
