Alun Thomas, Chief Executive, Adferiad Recovery
Working within the charity since 2011, Alun held the title of Chief Executive of Hafal from December 2014 until the launch of Adferiad Recovery. Prior to this, Alun worked as a Registered General Nurse in the NHS before becoming manager of a 75-bed nursing home which he developed into a specialist neurological rehabilitation facility.

Managing the team and professional practice within Parkland Place Lancashire.

Utilises specialist medical skills and knowledge to provide individual detox regimes
1 x Deputy Manager
Assisting with the running of Parkland Place Lancashire and supervising admissions.
1 x Independent Nurse prescriber
Assisting with prescribed medication and supporting client admissions.
3 x Referrals Team Members
Completing telephone assessments with clients. Arranging invoices and transportation once admission is confirmed.
8 x Registered Nurses
Supporting clinical care of clients and administering medication.
11 x Recovery Workers
Attending to the physical and emotional wellbeing of clients engaging with residential treatment.
2 x Domestic Assistants
Overseeing cleanliness and maintenance duties within the unit.
1 x Office Manager
Dealing with incoming enquires, administration and clerical tasks.
2 x Chefs
Providing clients with nutritious and healthy meals using locally-sourced, natural ingredients.
